Product Description:

"NuCanoe Flint Review

Paddle a kayak up a tight, twisting river and you learn fast which boats were built for it and which ones were an afterthought. The NuCanoe Flint falls solidly into the first camp. Out on moving water, it tracks true and holds a line without a fight, and the paddle efficiency is noticeably good for a boat this size. Toss in a genuinely generous amount of room for gear and tackle, plus enough space for a small crate, and you've got a kayak that goes from quick trip to loaded down for the day without much complaint.

Where the Flint asks you to compromise is stability when you're on your feet. Primary stability is limited, so standing up to sight cast or work a lure takes steadier balance than some competitors demand. The seat is height adjustable and comfortable enough for shorter outings, but it sits low, and that can start to wear on you over a longer day on the water. Accessory track is also more limited than we'd like, so anglers who want to kit out every inch of their kayak with extra mounts and rigging may find themselves boxed in faster than expected.

None of that erases what the Flint does well. It's a nimble, river capable fishing kayak that rewards paddlers with decent balance and a taste for tight water. It landed in solidly above average territory in our testing, just don't expect it to be the steadiest platform for standing and sight fishing all day.
